1v1 Killrace Tournament 

We're hosting an internal 1vs1 deathmatch tournament this summer.

The general rules are:

Only Rifle-class.

Only Teampickups.

Muted microphones in TS during a round.

2 rounds for each match (one on the axis site and one on the allied site).

A round ends when a player reaches 20 deaths.

Other important information:

Each participant must contact their opponents themselves

Find times (a day/evening) when you and your opponent have time together.

The games will usually take place in the evening. Because every game have to be supervised by a referee.

Therefore, come to our TeamSpeak server with your opponent

and go to the "waiting room" in the tournament area to wait for a free referee.

A match will take between 30 and 40 minutes on average.

 
1st phase (Group phase):
(5th August - 4th September)

Everyone plays against everyone from their own group.
The number of groups and the size of the groups depends on the number of participants
and will be published a few days before the start of the tournament.
The map will be 3xi_trainmap_realism.
Victory by points (1 point for each round won).

2nd phase (KO-rounds):

(9th September - 25th September)

The best 4 from each group stage compete in a knockout phase.
If several players have the same number of points in their group, the respective kill/death rate
of the games decides on their placement in the KO phase.

The map will be dod_linux_c4.
(But with an extended spawn area and blocked tunnels.)
(It's not allowed to plant TNT, a plant counts as 2 death)

Victory by Kill/Death-rate.
(the K/D-rates of the 2 rounds of a match will be summed up).

3rd phase (Final):
(26th September - 2nd October)

The last two remaining of the knockout phase play against each other.
The map has not yet been determined yet.
Victory by Kill/Death-rate.
(the K/D-rates of the 2 rounds of a match will be summed up).
